Here are the keyboard shortcuts that you would love to know..

  • Windows Key + 1, 2, 3, 4, etc
    Pressing windows key and any numeric button will launch the item in your quick launch bar.

  • Windows key + Alt + 1, 2, 3, etc
    Pressing this key will go to jump list for each program in your task bar.

  • Windows Key + T
    Pressing this key will cycle through programs that are in your task bar. It is just like when you hover your mouse on a program, just press enter or space bar to open the program.

  • Window Key + Home
    This key will minimize all windows behind your current window.
  • Windows Key + B
    Pressing windows key and B will Select the system tray. This key is very useful when your mouse stops working.

  • Windows key + Esc/Alt + Esc
    Pressing this key is just like pressing Alt + Esc. It switches/selects the windows the way they are opened.

    Pressing this key will take back to previous folder. It is an alternative key of backspace or back button in your current window.
  • Shift + F10
    Pressing this key will open context menu of a file/folder, an alternative of right-click.

  • Shift + Delete
    Pressing this key will delete the selected file permanently without sending it to recycle bin.
  • Ctrl + Shift + N
    Pressing this key will create a new folder in your current directory.
  • Alt + Enter
    Pressing this key will let you to view properties of selected file or folder.

  • F2
    Pressing this key will let you to rename the selected file or folder.
  • F3
    Pressing this key will take you to search box in your current window.
  • F6
    Pressing this key will let you to cycle through objects in current window. This key will let you cycle through location bar, options bar, left pane and right pane.
  • F10
    Pressing this key will let you toggle through file in menu bar. After pressing the keys, use your arrow keys to toggle through menu bar.
