Photo Tagging Virus in Facebook

Nowadays, Facebook users have become quite concern about the security issue, so is why many spammers and advertisers are striking right at the issue. These days, they send following type of messages to the users and request to share that with their friends.

Facebook has Five new viruses

• If you get a notification of photo tag do not open it.
• If you get a notification that a friend reported you for offensive behaviour DO NOT OPEN IT.
• You got 500 FBK DO NOT OPEN IT.
• Message from ya mates chat saying click this link DO NOT OPEN IT
• Crash at Alton Tower DO NOT OPEN IT.

These are bad viruses, will crash your computer. REPOST AND WARN OTHERS!!!!!!!!!!

In reality, theses threats are not Virus, rather these messages are just rogue. Computer viruses are completely different than theses sorts of rouge rather these rouges are designed to make user take part in online survey from where spammers and advertiser acquire users personal information and get their commission of making someone take part in online survey. That’s why calling such scams a virus is misleading a user and has no point in fact.

Until the day, there is no any supportive incident to these scams of crashing, shutdown of users computer. Rather they want trick user to sign up for their particular website or in their online survey, so they can post Spam messages and advertise through users account on their wall. On the other hand, some other such survey pages might try to sign up users in expensive SMS services as well. While, other survey pages might also trick users to download malware/spyware via free online games, other popular applications or even from tool bars.

So, these types of messages are not made for the benefit of users instead they are designed for the own benefit of the application developer, so stay alert of such Scams.
