If you have hundreds of MP3 files downloaded to your computer and want to create a CD of them then you can use media player. Windows Media Player lets you burn two different type of CDs one audio another data. Although you can get twice as many songs on a CD, you can play them on a CD player that plays MP3. (The burn your MP3 files to audio CD allows up to 79 minutes of recording time, but you can play on any audio CD player.) The following steps are to make an MP3 CD that can be played on a MP3 CD player.

Open Windows Media Player and insert a blank CD.

Select “Burn” from the top of the Windows Media Player. When the drop down menu under “Burn” is displayed, select “Data CD” and “Eject disc after burning

Select “Songs” at the Library option on the left side of the screen in Windows Media Player.

Click and drag the songs you want to be on the CD in the “burn list” panel on the right side of your screen in Windows Media Player.

Select “Start Burn” when you have finished building your playlist. Wait until burning is complete before using your computer.

Remove the completed MP3-CD when it comes to a CD burner.
