There are many tips to speed up iTunes and here are some of them.

1: Delete Smart Playlists

Deleting smart playlist is one of the best way to increase iTunes speed. Many of you like these smart playlist but what I prefer is my own playlist and you can create your own. You can delete the smart playlist by following the steps below:

Right-click on one of the playlist and select delete from the context menu.
Before deleting the playslist, you will get a message to confirm to delete. Just click on “Delete” to continue.

2: Disable Genius

Genious is one of the great feature of iTunes but most users don’t use it. So disabling it is another way to increase iTunes speed. To disable it, just follow the steps below:

Click on start at menu bar and select Turn off Genius from drop-down-menu.
As you click on it, you will get a message to confirm. Click on Turn Off Genius.
