How to Hide Friends in Facebook

Those people whoever are listed as your friend in Facebook can access your friend list, which helps to make your circle bigger and you get the chance to get connected with new friends. Even though, many user were not satis

fied with this, as a result they started to dig out the way to hide their friend list as a result Facebook removed the link “View Friends“, which made the friend list less visible, but not actually what they were hoping for.

Furthermore, you can set restriction manually. To set the restriction look at the following steps. (This process is different if Timeline has been added, so look at the illustrations for both the accounts)

How to do in Old Profile

As a first step login to Facebook, then click at your name located at the top left corner of the page. After this, click the option Edit Profile marked with pencil icon.

Now, click the option Friends and Family while editing the profile.

After entering the option friends and family click the section Friend. Now, click the audience icon and select the privacy option to Only Me. As a last step, click the option save changes to implement the change.

How to do in Timeline

In case if you are using timeline, then it is real simple. First of all, go to the profile page, then click the friends list, which is just under the Cover Photo.

Just click the option Edit marked with pencil icon.

Next, change the default settings to Only Me. Most importantly, remember that still your friends can see all the mutual friends.
